Description

Netflix's recent purchase of a billboard company gave me this idea for an AR app that automatically played a show's trailer when you aimed the camera at a show's poster or billboard. Coded entirely in Swift/ARKit for iOS 12 in less than 70 lines of code. The idea or technology isn't new, but the implementation (strictly Swift, no Unity) is new. I envision people interacting with movie cutouts or billboards with this technology. Imagine a game where Tie Fighters fly out of a Star Wars poster, and eliminating them rewards users with a special trailer not found anywhere else!
