Description

"How would this picture look in my home?" Anyone who wants to redecorate the office or home knows this problem.
An augmented reality app for Android and iOS devices can help here, with which you can browse through the Œuvre by the artist Thomas Sing, then simply project your favorites as virtual replicas in original size onto your own wall, and review which artwork you like best there. 
Originally designed and implemented as an AR tool for personal use, I have implemented the app concept for other artists.
With the AR apps, all artists were able to massively reduce their transport costs for trial hanging, hold discussions with interested customers in a sustainable manner, and even plan an exhibition, since you can place and move several virtual images on walls at the same time.
The (second) best thing about the apps is a content management system which I have tied to each one such as the artists can manage their app content without any programming knowledge, i. e. add or delete images, change text descriptions, etc. Upon the next app launch, the content is automatically synchronized across all devices. This way, there is no need for a tedious app update.

How to Use it

Launch the app, make sure there is a network connection.

Bookmark your favourite artworks from the gallery list by tapping on the heart buttons

Click on an artwork to open the detail view

Click on the "View in room" button

Scan the floor and walls

Follow further instructions displayed in the app.
