Explore the skeleton of a mammoth in augmented reality

Description

The prehistoric world is a very interesting part of human history. You can see one of the animals that used to walk on our planet in your room using augmented reality. 

Smithsonian Museum Creators made a 3d model of a mammoth skeleton. By activating the lens for Instagram, you can see the skeleton of a mammoth in front of you.

You can project the mammoth image in any space. This augmented reality lens makes it possible to enlarge the image of a mammoth.

You can also click on the numbers from 1 to 5 and see in front of you also information about the structure of the mammoth skeleton.

How to Use it

If you are using Catchar from the laptop or desktop, you have to click on the "UNLOCK THIS AR EFFECT" button. Then, a QR code will open and you can scan it by pointing your smartphone at the screen. Note that the newest OS phone versions allow scanning QR codes with default camera. Once you scan it, the Instagram app will open with an unlocked AR effect. You need to have the Instagram app installed.

If you are using a smartphone, you have to click on the "UNLOCK THIS AR EFFECT" button and then you will be automatically redirected to Instagram website with unlocked AR effect. You need to have the Instagram app installed.
