Description
I wrote an augmented reality currency conversion app for iOS 12 beta (because I couldn't wait til September!) that uses ARKit 2.0's image detection/tracking. Simply aim your phone at banknotes from two different countries and the app will retrieve the latest exchange rate...at least, the latest that a free API can get. I'm planning on training a model to recognize currencies and not rely on image detection because of its limitations, especially with similar-looking banknotes. Lastly I used Airbnb's Lottie library for the animated green checkmark, an awesome, awesome tool that converts After Effects animations into JSON.
